Stellantis announced on Oct. 14 that it will invest $13 billion in the U.S. market over the next four years to expand its domestic manufacturing footprint, the “largest single investment” the carmaker has ever made.

The investment will increase Stellantis’s domestic vehicle production by 50 percent over the next four years and add more than 5,000 new jobs across plants in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, according to a statement by the company.
