Investigation Underway After Patient Dies in Saskatoon Hospital Following Altercation With Security

The Canadian Press/Heywood YuSaskatoon police are investigating after a patient at a local hospital died following an altercation with security officers, according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).The health authority said the incident happened on Jan. 9 after a staff member called SHA protective service officers to a patient room over a “safety concern” at the Royal University Hospital.
