Norway’s progressive Arbeiderpartiet (Labor Party) government won a second term in power as a minority government on Sept. 8, while the populist Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) won its largest ever share of the vote.

Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere’s party and a quartet of smaller, progressive parties won 87 seats, more than the 85 required for a majority in the Storting (Norwegian Parliament), with 99 percent of ballots counted.
