US Trade Court Strikes Down Trumps 10 Percent Global Tariffs

Joe Raedle/Getty ImagesThe U.S. Court of International Trade on May 7 struck down President Donald Trump’s 10-percent global tariffs under the Trade Act of 1974.The court ruled 2–1 in favor of small businesses that contested the tariffs, which had taken effect on Feb. 24. A dissenting judge said it was premature to rule on the dispute.
