US Requests Extradition of Drug Trafficker: Ecuadorian Court of Justice

The United States officially requested the extradition of José Adolfo Macías Villamar, known as “Fito,” from the president of Ecuador’s National Court of Justice, José Suing Nagua.

The United States requested that Ecuador’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility hold Macías Villamar accountable to the U.S. justice system, according to a July 8 statement issued by the National Court of Justice of Ecuador.
