WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, a day before Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy visits the White House, as part of a renewed push to resolve the war in Eastern Europe.
“I am speaking to President Putin now. The conversation is ongoing, a lengthy one, and I will report the contents, as will President Putin, at its conclusion. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
