Troops Deployed as Nepal Faces Fiercest Unrest in Years

The Nepalese army has deployed patrols as the country grapples with its most severe unrest in decades.

“We are trying to normalise the situation first,” army spokesman Raja Ram Basnet said on Wednesday. “We are committed to protect the life and property of people.”
