Toyota Recalls 1 Million Vehicles Because of Rearview Camera Display Issue

Justin Sullivan/Getty ImagesToyota has announced a recall of 1.02 million vehicles in the United States due to a defect that could cause the rear-view camera to malfunction, potentially increasing the risk of an accident.In a Nov. 5 statement, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the recall involves 2022 through 2026 Toyota and Lexus models, including Camry, Highlander, RAV4, Prius, and Lexus RX, TX, LS, GX, NX, and LX—as well as Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor system.
