Tory MP Publicly Rejects Liberal Invitation to Cross Floor

Conservative MP says the Liberals recently asked him to cross the floor to join their party, a move he says he has “no intention” of making.“I have no intention of crossing the floor today, tomorrow or ever, regardless of what you offer me. It would be a betrayal of my constituents, a betrayal of the office to which I have been elected, and a betrayal of my own personal core beliefs,” Tory MP Scott Anderson said in a Jan. 5 post on Facebook.
