Your choice to retire solo may not have been your original plan, or you may have made it with a deliberate embrace of personal freedom.
According to a Census Bureau report, nearly 3 in 10 adults aged 65 or older lived alone in 2022. More specifically, 27 percent of women and 21 percent of men aged 65 to 74, as well as 43 percent and 24 percent of those aged 75 or older, lived alone.
The good news? It’s possible to enjoy a deeply fulfilling, liberating, and lifelong retirement with the right planning and mindset.
