NHS’s Total Liabilities for Medical Negligence Hit £60 Billion

The NHS’s total liabilities for medical negligence have hit £60 billion—quadrupling since 2006-07, according to the National Audit Office (NAO).

A rising number of claims, together with more being paid out per claim plus spiralling legal fees, is all having an impact.
