The report identified the country’s top 10 housing markets for 2026, most of which are magnets for millennials.“After three years of flat home sales, a solid double-digit percentage increase is expected in 2026,” Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist, said. “In 2026, we expect higher inventory, modest improvements in affordability, and more accommodating monetary policy from the Federal Reserve will help more Americans buy their next home.”
