Britain’s Heathrow Airport in London said it will be closed on Friday due to a “significant power outage” caused by a fire at a nearby electrical substation supplying the airport.

About 150 people were reportedly evacuated from the airport on Friday after the fire erupted. It remains unclear what caused the fire.

“To maintain the safety of our passengers and colleagues, Heathrow will be closed until 23h59 on 21 March,” the airport said in a statement. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest airports, also advised passengers not to travel to the airport and to contact the airlines if they require further information.
