Keisuke Hosojima/Kyodo News via APThe Nikkei 225 hit a record on Feb. 9 after Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s party secured a two-thirds supermajority in a parliamentary election.According to the Nikkei 225’s official site, the average closing price was 56,363.94, up 2,110.26, or 3.89 percent, following a high of 57,337.07 during the day.
