Depending on which region of the country you decide to call home, a $1 million property will buy you anywhere from 1,700 to 4,500 square feet of living space.
In its Oct. 27 Housing Market Luxury Report, Realtor.com indicated that metropolitan areas, such as Atlanta, Denver, and Houston, provide significantly more space for a $1 million-plus home than places such as San Francisco or Honolulu.
