Help David Romlewski’s Widow Continue His Supreme Court Battle
On March 11, 2025, David Romlewski, a peaceful participant in the Freedom Convoy, filed for leave to appeal his case to the Supreme Court of Canada. His application was the first of its kind among those charged and arrested during what many have called Canada’s largest peaceful protest.
David’s case carries historic legal significance, with the potential to shape the outcome of all ongoing trials and appeals related to the Freedom Convoy 2022.
But just seven days later, on March 18, 2025, David tragically passed away.
His grieving widow, Liisa, is now left to carry on the legal fight, not only in David’s memory, but for the future of freedom and justice in Canada. She knows how much this battle meant to him… and to so many others across the country.
To move forward with the appeal, Liisa must raise $7,750 in legal fees. All funds go directly to David’s lawyer, Brian Doody, who has already devoted many hours to the case at a significantly reduced rate.
Thanks to earlier support, $1,440 has already been raised to help initiate the appeal process. However, the remaining $7,750 must be secured to move forward. With David gone, Liisa is left without the financial means to continue alone and she needs our help.
Help Liisa finish what David started. Help her carry the torch of truth, justice, and peaceful resistance.
