A new report from national public relations firm DKC shows that America’s youngest consumers—aged 8 to 14—now have an average of $67 per week of their own spending money, for a total of $3,484 annually. With 29 million currently in that age range, their total annual spending tops $101 billion.

The report, conducted in May and June, is based on a DKC survey of 1,000 parents who had at least one child aged 8 to 14.
