G7 leaders have concluded their two-day summit in Canada with seven joint statements covering a range of issues, including critical minerals, transnational repression, and the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who chaired the summit, said in a chair’s summary that the G7 remains committed “to coordinate financial and economic policy, address issues of peace and security, and cooperate with international partners in response to global challenges.”
