ReutersOn the first day of the U.S. military’s naval blockade of Iranian ports, no vessels breached the barrier, and six merchant ships agreed with orders to reverse course, U.S. Central Command said Tuesday.“Yesterday, an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel tried to evade the U.S. blockade after leaving Bandar Abbas, exiting the Strait of Hormuz, and transiting along the Iranian coastline,” U.S. Central Command said in a post on X. “The guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) successfully redirected the vessel, which is heading back to Iran.”
