Former Greens candidate Hannah Thomas is preparing legal action against the New South Wales (NSW) government after suffering an eye injury during her arrest at an anti-Israel demonstration.
Lawyers for 35-year-old Thomas claim she was subjected to “unjustified violence” and was the target of “gratuitous police brutality” during a protest in Sydney on June 27.
