Europe Approves Record $25 Billion Budget for Space Agency

Michael Probst/APEuropean governments have approved a record 22.1 billion euro ($25.6 billion) funding package for the European Space Agency (ESA), backing expanded science, security, and exploration programs.Ministers from the ESA’s 23 member states and partner countries agreed on the largest contribution in the agency’s history at a ministerial council in Bremen on Nov. 27.
