EU Unveils New Push Against Drug Trafficking

Jan Hetfleisch/Getty ImagesEuropean Union ministers on June 4 approved a new framework to implement the bloc’s anti-drug strategy, stepping up efforts to combat drug trafficking and organized crime across Europe.The measures were endorsed during a meeting of EU justice and home affairs ministers in Luxembourg and form part of a broader strategy covering the period from 2026 to 2030.
