‘Comments Were Wrong’: Leader Tries to Fix Indian Ties

The opposition leader has declined to apologise for one of her senators over controversial comments on Indian migration, despite acknowledging the community had been hurt by the remarks.

It comes after Coalition Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price said in an interview the government was bringing in Indian migrants who would vote for Labor and support its policies.
