Cocaine Hidden in Frozen Fruit From Colombia Intercepted at BC Port

The Canada Border Services Agency found more than 26 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a shipping container at the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility on Oct. 31. The agency said the drugs were hidden in boxes declared as frozen fruit from Colombia. Handout/CBSACanada’s border agency says its officers in British Columbia recently confiscated more than 26 kilograms of cocaine concealed within a container that was declared as a shipment of frozen fruit from Colombia.The drugs were discovered by officers at the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility on Oct. 31 with the help of detector dogs, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) said in a Dec. 22 press release.
