BRICS Nations Call on Wealthy Countries to Fund Worldwide Net-Zero Transition

Leaders of the BRICS group said on Sunday that wealthy countries should pay to help poorer nations transition to net zero.

The BRICS bloc, comprising countries such as Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, is an alliance that sees itself as a counterweight to Western-led institutions.
