Beijing Sanctions US Defense Companies Over Taiwan Arms Sale

Dado Ruvic/ReutersBeijing imposed new sanctions on American defense companies and executives Dec. 26 after the United States green-lit the largest weapons package for Taiwan.In a statement, the regime’s Foreign Ministry said its sanctions against 20 U.S. companies and 10 defense executives mean their assets in China will be frozen, and all organizations and individuals within China will be banned from “engaging in transaction, cooperation, and other activities with them.”
