Poilievre Heading to US to Discuss Trade, Promote Auto and Energy Sectors

The Canadian Press/Justin TangConservative Leader Pierre Poilievre will be travelling to the United States to advocate for Canada’s automotive and energy sectors, shortly after he wrapped up a trip to the United Kingdom and Germany.The week-long trip will start March 13 in Detroit, Michigan, where Poilievre will meet with auto industry leaders to advocate for “an integrated North American auto sector and tariff-free trade that protects Canadian jobs,” according to a March 11 press release from the Conservative Party.
