Protests Flare Across Iran as Currency Plummets

Fars News Agency via APIran’s government contended with continuing protests on Tuesday after the value of the country’s currency tumbled in recent days.Witnesses speaking with The Associated Press on Monday described people rallying in the capital city of Tehran, as well as in the central city of Isfahan, the northeastern city of Mashhad, and the southern city of Shiraz.
