Boeing Wins $8.57 Billion Contract for New F-15 Fighters for Israel

Amir Cohen/ReutersBoeing has secured an $8.57 billion U.S. Air Force contract to design, produce, and deliver a new fleet of advanced F-15 fighter jets for Israel, the Pentagon has announced.The contract covers the production of 25 F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with an option for an additional 25 jets, under the U.S. government’s Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, according to a daily contracts announcement issued by the U.S. Department of War on Dec. 29.
