The Canadian Press/Sean KilpatrickGovernment job growth outpaced that of the private sector as the public service added nearly one million positions over the past decade, accounting for nearly one-third of the total employment increase in Canada, a new study suggests.Canada experienced a rise of 950,000 government sector jobs from 2015 to 2024, representing approximately 30 percent of the total employment gains in the country during that timeframe, according to a recently-released report from the Fraser Institute.
