AP Photo/Armando Franca, FileAirbus announced on Dec. 1 that it has modified most of the 6,000 A320-family aircraft affected by a mandatory global software update, a fix prompted by an in-flight incident last month that investigators linked to corrupted flight-control data.The European planemaker reported that the “vast majority” of aircraft had received the required changes, leaving fewer than 100 still awaiting updates.
