The Canadian Press/Spencer ColbyPoliticians from several parties have reacted to former Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault’s resignation from cabinet over Prime Minister Mark Carney’s deal with Alberta to advance a pipeline and modify several Trudeau-era environmental policies.On Nov. 27, hours after Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to pave the way for the building of a new pipeline to the B.C. coast, Culture Minister Guilbeault submitted his resignation letter, citing disagreements with the new Liberal government’s energy and environmental policies.
