Canada Introduces Colour-Coded System for Weather Warnings

The Canadian Press/Shane WilkieEnvironment Canada is launching a new colour-coded alert system aimed at safeguarding Canadians during extreme weather events.The goal of the revamped system is to make it easier for Canadians to quickly assess the severity of extreme weather, Environment Canada said in a Nov. 26 press release.
