Germany Bans Activist Group Muslim Interaktiv

Marcus Brandt/dpa via APGermany has banned an organization it accused of promoting hatred, rejecting democracy, and calling for the establishment of an Islamic state while denying Israel’s right to exist, the Interior Ministry stated on Nov. 5.The ministry described the group, known as Muslim Interaktiv, as posing a “serious threat” to Germany’s constitutional order. It said the organization had worked to undermine democratic principles and replace them with a religious-based social system.
