Energy Agency Forecasts Multiyear Low for US Distillate Inventories by Year-End

U.S. total distillate inventories are forecast to end 2025 and 2026 at multiyear lows, according to a new report by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) released on Sept. 24.

Distillates are a category of refined petroleum products consisting of heating oil, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and kerosene.
