South Korea to Review Information on Possible Link Between Tylenol and Autism

South Korean officials said on Sept. 23 that they will seek information from relevant companies after U.S. officials issued a new warning that using Tylenol and other drugs with acetaminophen during pregnancy “may be associated with an increased risk of neurological conditions” such as autism.

South Korea’s drug regulator said it would review the opinions and documents provided by the companies regarding acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol.
