American Express Enhances Platinum Card; Fee Rises to $895

American Express revealed on Sept. 18 new enhancements for both consumer and business Platinum cardholders, providing access to more than $3,500 in annual value. Meanwhile, the annual fee for the special Silver card increased by $200, rising from $695 to $895.

For consumer Platinum card members, this includes new credits on eligible purchases with Resy, Lululemon, Uber, One Membership, and perks with existing hotel and digital entertainment credits for consumers.
