Trend Toward AI Decision-Making Is Fraught With Danger, Expert Warns

As the government moves towards greater use of computer algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) as part of a push for information technology modernisation, politicians and policymakers need to think more about the question of liability: who pays when something goes wrong?

That’s the recommendation of Michael Duffy, research impact director in the Department of Business Law and Taxation at Monash University.
