The majority of Canadians say that immigrants should only be allowed into the country if they “adopt Canadian values,” according to a new poll.

The poll conducted by Research Co. and released Aug. 14 found that two-thirds (66 percent) of surveyed Canadians said that newcomers to the country should adopt the country’s values. Meanwhile, 25 percent of survey respondents disagreed with this view, and 10 percent said they were unsure.
