The Department of Homeland Security said on June 30 that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has collected more than $106 billion in customs revenue since President Donald Trump returned to office, with the vast majority—$81.5 billion—generated by tariffs imposed under Trump’s trade reset with other countries.

The announcement highlights the scale of Trump’s tariff-driven trade agenda, which the president has touted as a key tool in reshaping ties with much of the rest of the world so as to no longer put the United States at a commercial disadvantage.
