Written Complaints to NHS in England Rises to New Record High

The number of people waiting more than 12 hours in A&E departments in England from a decision to admit to actually being admitted – so-called ‘corridor care’ – remains high. Alamy/PA

The number of written complaints submitted to the health service has risen year-on-year to a new record high, NHS England data shows.

Experts said the figure should serve as a “wake-up call”.
