Meyer – February 3, 2025 FWC always a step ahead Picking up where we left off yesterday, what are the benefits of gold-based monetary systems? The first little-understood advantage is that the monetary systems backed by gold are almost completely immune to big booms and crises. This is because the supply of credit is strictly regulated by the size of the economy. Bankers are bound by their gold reserves to not lend too much. Central banks are worsening the economy, not improving it, while at the same time cutting interest rates to zero and even in negative territory in 17 years and passes since the crisis of 2008.. But they also used quantitative easing, or QE. It’s just about printing more money, which they did for 4 rounds, consisting of brazen bond purchases to inject more liquid into the economy. So, after a brief and blatant flirt with “normality”, the Fed has definitely gone back to its old corrupt tricks of robbing the middle class to reward the rich. The good thing is that everything is predictable. More money new counterfeits. More debt. More crazy booms, with terrible fails. And, of course, more inflation, with no one on the horizon to clean the mess. Warning, a gold storm is coming!!!
