Volkswagen, Porsche Recall 530,000 Vehicles for Faulty Rearview Cameras

Eric Piermont/AFP via Getty ImagesVolkswagen Group of America and Porsche Cars North America are recalling more than 530,000 vehicles due to software errors that could prevent the rearview camera image from displaying properly.Volkswagen is recalling certain 2019 through 2026 Audi vehicles, and the number affected is estimated to be 356,649, according to a notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Jan. 6. Included among the 18 models listed are the 2020 to 2026 A6 All Road, the 2020 to 2024 E-Tron Sportbacks, the 2022 to 2026 E-Tron GTs, the 2021 to 2026 RS 6 Avants, and the 2022 to 2026 RS E-Tron GTs.
