Uzbekistan signed an $8.5 billion deal with Boeing on Sept. 22 to buy 22 Dreamliner aircraft, in what the aircraft maker described as “the single largest order in the airline’s history.”

The agreement was made following Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s recent visit to the United States.
