US Congress Reaches Budget Agreement, Ending Longest Shutdown

Madalina Kilroy/The Epoch TimesThe U.S. Congress passed an emergency budget agreement after 43 days of government shutdown, the longest in U.S. history.President Donald Trump signed the bill into law late Nov. 12, hours after the House voted to approve emergency funding to government services until Jan. 30, 2026, while Congress discusses a complete budget for the year.
