A Ukrainian man wanted in Germany over his alleged involvement in the explosions that ruptured the Nord Stream pipelines in 2022 has been detained in Poland, prosecutors said on Sept. 30.

The suspect, identified only as Volodymyr Z. because of German privacy laws, was arrested in Pruszkow, a town near the Polish capital Warsaw, under a European arrest warrant issued in Germany, according to Polish radio station RMF24.
