Uber Buys $318 Million Stake in Delivery Hero to Fulfill Competition Regulations

Mike Blake/ReutersUber bought an approximately $318 million stake in German delivery platform Delivery Hero from Dutch technology investment company Prosus, the European companies announced on April 17.Delivery Hero, started in 2011 as a food delivery service, said the nearly 13.6 million shares sold to Uber represent around 4.5 percent of its shares outstanding.
