Trump, Zelenskyy Say They Had Good Meeting in Davos

Romina Amato/ReutersUkrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed Thursday that key security guarantees for his country have been completed after talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, but agreements regarding territory cessations have not been realized as Russia’s war in Ukraine grinds into its fourth year.The meeting, which took place in Davos amid the World Economic Forum, represents the most recent in a number of discussions between the two leaders since Trump’s return to the White House last year. Both described the talks in a positive light, a step toward ending Europe’s bloodiest conflict since World War II.
