Anna Moneymaker/Getty ImagesPresident Donald Trump said on Nov. 10 that the United States was “pretty close” to reaching a trade deal with India that would be fair to both sides and indicated that he may lower tariffs on Indian goods.“We’re making a deal with India, a much different deal than we had in the past,” he told reporters at the Oval Office. “We’re getting a fair deal, just a fair trade deal.”
