Intel ‘Engaging With’ White House After Trump Calls for CEO to Resign Over China Portfolio

Intel’s CEO Lip-Bu Tan on Aug. 7 said the company is engaging with the Trump administration after President Donald Trump called for Tan’s resignation over his alleged ties to Chinese companies with military backgrounds.

Tan, a chip veteran and prolific investor, took the reins of Intel in March as the embattled chipmaker tries to regain territory from its competitors.
